A large part of mental health awareness is to educate others the real meanings of words that people misuse in normal conversations. SWIPE to learn the difference between the two! ✨
In my masters thesis, I did a comparative study between two groups of males from masculine and feminine (perceived) physical activities, and measured them on masculinity, aggression and gender role conflict. It was bizarre to me how emotions also were fit into the ridiculous gender stereotypes that man has created. I won’t go too much into the exact results of my study, but I can tell you for sure that emotions..ALL emotions have the potential to be experienced regardless of your gender. Maybe the frequency or intensity may differ, but that’s it. At the end of the day we all are human. ✨
