Albert Bandura is a name that every psychology student has heard numerous times since the day they chose to be a psychologist. So many short notes, presentations and lectures we’ve sat through just solely on his work. Self-affirmations unfortunately are paraded as examples of toxic positivity a lot of times. The difference here is that self-affirmations aren’t just statements that one says in hopes of solving all their life problems. It’s a statement that stays with them through the active steps they take to reach the goal that they want to achieve. These statements act like little helpful pushes to keep you motivated and focused. ✨
